| Given increase in life expectancy, advances in medicine, and the generation of baby boomers who are entering their prime, we can expect a major demographic explosion. Our society must adapt to the growing needs of an aging population and to respond to their new hopes and aspirations. It is within this spirit that the Foundation for Vital Aging has pursued its mission since its inception in 1992. Our Mission The Foundation for Vital Aging is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support pilot projects and activities carried out in partnership with public organizations and community partners. These projects, involving practice, research, and training, aim to improve the quality of life of older adults. Our objectives are to study the social aspects of aging, and promote the vitality, dignity and well-being of older adults through cutting-edge services which have become models of excellence. The Foundation for Vital Aging also carries out activities in order to sensitize the population and influence social policies.
